Summary and Objective

Our pilots and MSU technicians operate in high-pressure, fast-moving environments where minutes matter. This role ensures frontline teams—especially those on the road—feel supported, recognized, and cared for, while reducing distractions for schedulers and coordinators.

This is an operationally embedded support role focused on morale and logistics—not HR compliance or personnel management.

Essential functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Support & Delight Our People

  1. Celebrate wins across pilots and MSU techs (recoveries, AOG saves, safety wins, teamwork moments).

  1. Coordinate meals, road support, and quality-of-life assistance for crews and techs.

  1. Deliver timely recognition—spot acknowledgements, shout-outs, and small gestures that matter.

Be a Calm During Fire Drills

  1. Provide logistical and morale support during operational disruptions (e.g., weather events, maintenance issues, irregular ops).

  1. Resolve non-technical issues quickly so schedulers and coordinators stay focused.

  1. Follow through after disruptions so teams feel heard and supported.

Support Schedulers & Coordinators

  1. Act as a pressure-release valve for ops teams.

  1. Address crew and tech needs that do not involve flight schedule changes or operational replanning.

  1. Reduce distractions during peak ops windows.

Track What Matters

  1. Maintain simple tracking of morale actions and support provided.

  1. Share recurring themes and morale insights with leadership for continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

  • Pilots and MSU techs say: “They’ve got my back.”

  • Schedulers say: “This helps me do my job better.”

  • Leaders see stronger engagement and fewer morale escalations during high-stress periods

Who You Are

  • Service-oriented, but operationally sharp.

  • Trusted, responsive, and proactive.

  • Comfortable in fast-moving, imperfect environments.

  • Motivated by helping others succeed.

Why It Matters

  • This role protects our culture while we scale. It ensures the people doing the hardest work to feel supported, recognized, and respected—every day, not just when something goes wrong.

Dress Code and Uniform

  • Well-groomed appearance

  • Adherence to department dress code

Required education and experience

  • 3–7 years in operations support, aviation, hospitality, or high-tempo service environments.

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through.

  • Comfortable making quick decisions on crew support (e.g., meals, transport, morale gestures) within clear spending and policy limits.

  • Clear, professional communicator. Aviation or frontline ops experience preferred but not required.

  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.
