Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Items Analyst - Early Career,. In this role, you will collaborate with our team to deploy advanced analytics for predictive health, enabling precise forecasting of maintenance actions and informing supply requirements. By implementing enhanced reliability, diagnostics, and new technologies, you will contribute to minimizing unscheduled maintenance, ensuring the highest level of system reliability for our customers. Furthermore, your knowledge of design principles will be beneficial in optimizing aircraft maintenance planning and execution, leading to improved mission readiness and fleet availability. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts, allowing you to complete assigned technical tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to apply discretion and judgment in your work will be essential, as you will be dealing with assignments that require creative problem-solving.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must possess a bachelors degree in Systems, Industrial, Aeronautical, Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Technical writing experience
• Ability to understand and analyze data and metrics as well as conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Experience with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.
Basic knowledge of systems engineering concepts
Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
