Job Summary
A Kanban Analyst I must have a good understanding of inventory control and materials management in a material flow environment that employs material pull processes in place of work order kitting. A good understanding of how the pull process works with minimal transactions in a repetitive manufacturing process as part of the MRP configuration and environment is also important to this role.
The Kanban Analyst I supports the design and execution of Kanban material replenishment systems under supervision. This entry-level role focuses on learning and applying basic inventory control, materials management, and pull-based manufacturing concepts while assisting with data maintenance and process improvement activities.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Support the implementation and daily operation of Kanban systems
- Collect and analyze basic inventory and replenishment data.
- Assist in monitoring inventory flow and identifying material shortages.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with planners and material handlers to maintain part availability.

- 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory control.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic ERP/MRP systems.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; eagerness to learn.
