Job Summary

The Leadership Education Aircraft Development (LEAD) Operations Scheduler I delivers on our Purpose in their work overseeing the scheduling for all Pilot training, including SIMS scheduling to ensure Pilots and Instructors are scheduled for training. This role is responsible for interpreting SWAPA contracts, FARs, and FOTM as they relate to all aspects of Training Scheduling. The LEAD Operations Scheduler I is a detail-orientated thinker and is passionate about connecting with and supporting the Pilots they schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Produces and notifies training schedules for Pilots in accordance with FARs, SWAPA contracts, office policies, and FOTM requirements accurately and within the deadlines using various computerized systems
  • Coordinates and schedules Operating Experience events for Initial First Officers and Captain Upgrades in accordance with applicable policies and regulations
  • Oversees completion of daily check list, including processing trades, covering sick calls/no shows, for all Pilots, Instructors, and Check Pilots
  • Updates and maintains Pilot, Instructor, and Check Pilot training and certificate information via OQS (Operations Qualification System) and hard copy records in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and FOTM approved programs
  • Schedules Pilots for non-flying and non-training events
  • Determines Pilot and Flight Instructor pay calculations for training activities
  • Makes Pilot hotel accommodations and travel reservations upon request
  • Ensures Pilot Training qualifications and expires qualifications for Pilots on leave status
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee&39;s Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of mathematical computations using decimals and/or hours and minutes, both with and without a calculator
  • Knowledge of various PC applications, type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of job
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and aurally) via telephone and face to face
  • Ability to operate multi-line telephone with sufficient courtesy and speed
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and maintain focus with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents, Including federal regulations, contracts, and Company material
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude while exercising flexibility under pressure
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints and in high stress situations to accomplish assignments
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience
  • Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
    • Administrative experience
    • Customer Service
    • Critical thinking and applying learned knowledge of operations and/or procedures

Licensing/Certification
  • N/A

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Must be able to remain in the stationary seated position for over 50 of the time

Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

Pay & Benefits:


Competitive market salary from $51,850 per year to $57,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
