As a Labor Cost & Profitability Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of pricing and margin strategy—translating labor and production inputs into powerful cost models that shape commercial decisions. This role blends industrial engineering with financial analysis to uncover cost drivers, optimize profitability, and foster cross-functional alignment across production, planning, and pricing.

• • Build and refine cost models by analyzing labor, materials, and production processes to reflect real-world operations.
  • Support pricing and margin decisions by linking customer requirements to operational and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with Industrial Engineering to maintain accurate labor standards and uncover process improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct profitability analyses to identify performance gaps and support margin enhancement strategies.
  • Standardize costing methodologies through benchspaning, documentation, and control points to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Provide timely, accurate responses to costing inquiries, empowering stakeholders with clear insights into cost drivers and pricing logic.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in labor costing, operations analysis, or process improvement.
• Solid understanding of time/motion studies, labor forecasting, or MTM.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for interpreting complex operational data.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-starter mindset with project coordination experience and willingness to travel (up to 25)
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, (4 days in office) balancing remote productivity with in-person collaboration to drive results and build strong cross-functional relationships.
