Summary

This role is a part of the Separation Management Office supporting the transition from GE Aviation to GE Aerospace.  The Global Pay Product Analyst is responsible for managing our various global payroll products functionally.  The role includes an in-depth understanding of our global payroll systems, processes, plans and policies for transition planning. You will identify trends and/or improvements and leverage expertise to work collaboratively across internal operations teams.  You will also partner with leadership to strategize and help drive transformational efforts while ensuring alignment to GE Aerospace needs, ensuring an optimal employee experience and customer value.  This includes driving and coordinating lean continuous improvement initiatives globally as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Delivers agile, contemporary, world class quality products within our global payroll purview including oversight for end-to-end product lifecycle and customer value.

  • Drives to a cohesive product strategy balancing customer satisfaction, cost, business requirements, local law/regulations and delivery model decisions across the product lines.

  • Partners with other product leaders to ensure integrated experiences and outcomes.

  • Partners closely with product stakeholders to ensure alignment on policy and product needs.

  • Deliver market leading, positive employee experience products with a sustainable competitive advantage.

  • Develop and manage global performance metrics for new or improved product/process aligning with customer requirements, increased productivity and compliance.  Support metrics reviews.

  • Leverage lean methodology to deliver optimal customer value and employee experience.

  • Work across a highly matrixed organization (regions, businesses, technology, practice leaders and sourcing) to ensure collaboration and teamwork in delivering a quality product to our customers.  Ensure the rationale for decisions broadly understood globally.

  • Manage relevant interfaces and tools.

  • Create and maintain all relevant product requirements and documentation.

  • Work closely with Digital Technology team in support of all tools to execute change beginning in initial design through testing and to deployment.

  • Partner closely with regional teams to create and execute test cases to support change.

  • Evaluate all change for impact to all content assets (Tier 0, Training, and Global Standard Operating Procedures), makes appropriate updates, and works with Channel Strategy team to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant work experience).

  • Prior professional work experience.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of global payroll products and processes.

  • Ability to travel globally up to 25 of the time.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with relevant work experience).
