     THE POSITION
     As a Lead Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving sourcing of materials in alignment with business leadership. You will be responsible for establishing and executing procurement strategies to ensure supply continuity, achieve the lowest total cost and reduce working capital. This role requires negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
     In this role, you will impact the company by driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing value engineering initiatives, and eliminating single sources.   
     You will report directly to the Director, Strategic Sourcing for Machining & Gears, with an annual team spend of ~$350M.
