The SSPS Product Area team within ASDS Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Senior Financial Analyst for the Strategic Domain Awareness portfolio. The position, which will report into the SDA Business Manager, will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to contribute to a dynamic program. The selected candidate will have exposure to various functional senior leaders and will work closely with the SDA Program Director, Integrated Product Team Leads, Engineering Business Analysts, Planning & Scheduling, and functional support leads on making sound financial, contractual, and resource decisions for all portfolio programs. In this fast-paced business environment, the selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
  • Perform Adhoc Analysis.
  • Tool implementation with process improvement focus.
  • Support Contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion.(EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR).
  • Data analysis and Variance development.
  • Support FP&A activities for the SSBU including Monthly, AOP and LRP Cycles

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and/or PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking.
  • Experience in using ERP Systems ex. SAP Business Systems (PRISM, SAP, AO reporting).
  • Experience in using ForProject.
  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player contributing new ideas.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
