Raytheon is currently looking to add an experienced professional to serve as a Logistics Senior Analyst on challenging product support projects on the Logistics Team. This position with emphasis on supporting a suite of products within the logistics department, including logistics data and technical manual procedures.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with well-developed written and verbal communication skills to start a career or develop their career in the aerospace-defense engineering environment supporting state-of-the art technology through development/sustainment phases of Logistics products.
What You Will Do:
- Support a wide array of duties supporting logistic engineering with limited supervision and collaborating with peers and internal customers.
- Create accurate logistics products based on source documents that include specifications, Military standards, vendor data and engineering data.
- Research specifications and standards to support Logistics and Parts Engineering processes.
- Develop written maintenance procedures with detailed instructions for the removal, installation and configuration of hardware, and develop enhancements to the instructions to improve its effectiveness.
- Develop detailed operation procedures for installed equipment.
- Assist autonomously with limited supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments with the development of troubleshooting procedures.
- Review technical data for maintenance evaluation and collection of logistic data.
- Input/research procedure/parts data into an Excel Model and/or relational databases.
- Interfaces with technicians, engineers, shipyard waterfront personnel and engineering managers to edit/validate developed logistics documentation.
- Works autonomously with limited supervision on routine work, receives instructions on new logistic projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
- Verifies Engineering Orders (EOs) are in the proper state and implement them into documentation.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience with technical writing.
- Experience with relational databases.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience with queries, database management and creation, and comparative analyses of data.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to develop required data from wide variety of sources and integrate into a single database, and with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawing/documentation (schematic, parts list, installation control drawing (ICD)).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
