Description:Performs MRP controller production scheduling for make items for manufacturing programs at Clearwater Operations.

Has responsibility for multiple program production schedules and directs manufacturing and material stores priorities.

Supports input and maintenance of product requirements into MRP system.

Supports program teams with managing applicable parameters associated with production planning including, but not limited to, manufacturing lot sizes, assembly lead-times, shrink factors, yield factors, inventory classes, etc.

Provide necessary system support with the generation of production reports, inactive/excess reporting, and job order initiations and maintenance.

Participates in site level loading with the Manufacturing Product Managers in order to help minimize the impact of large schedule fluctuations.

Works with product team members to ensure new program start ups and existing programs meet schedule, cost and quality goals.

Performs MRP output analysis for manufactured product, performs troubleshooting for MRP errors and assists others with systems reports, production status and part shortage reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
• Possess operations systems knowledge and aptitude including MRP, EPDM, MES and WMS systems.

• Ability to perform MRP output analysis for manufactured product, initiate/maintain work orders and produce timely and accurate production status and part shortage reporting.

• Ability to manage MRP parameters; lot sizing, lead times, demand grouping, etc. to optimize production flow and reduce material handling.

• Understanding of inventory control for material and assemblies and ability to coordinate end item issuing to meet on time customer deliveries.

• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

• Understanding of earned value management (EVM) and expense budgets

• Experience with COS SAP MRP

• Command of Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
