We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is fully onsite. While our Fort Worth, TX location is preferred we are open to considering candidates for our Amarillo, TX and/or Wichita, KS facilities.
Manufacturing Systems Business Analyst and Training (Across Multiple Levels)
The Enterprise Digital Systems team is responsible for leading the implementation of new digital systems at Bell. These new systems support enterprise processes such as; Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations and Quality. As a member of the Enterprise Digital Systems team, you would be responsible for working closely with end-users to understand their requirements and needs and then communicate those requirements to IT, so that solutions can be bought or built to meet the requirements. During this process there is an expectation that the business processes will be transformed, so that end users are more productive at the end of the implementation then they were prior to the implementation.
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineering Systems Business Analyst
- Collaborate with project engineers and teams to develop best practices to support enterprise transformation management
- Collaborate with business analysts and teams in manufacturing engineering and manufacturing to develop best practices to support enterprise transformation management
- Assess and design streamlined processes for aircraft manufacturing including assembly, machining, composites, electrical harness, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, chemical processing, and material handling.
- Assess and understand inspection and test requirements, develop streamlined Quality processes including incorporating statistical process control (SPC)
- Identify and track business process improvement benefits, ensure that new manufacturing engineering, manufacturing and quality processes and system changes achieve their desired benefits.
- Oversee the updating of manufacturing engineering, manufacturing and quality policies and procedures. Ensures processes and procedures comply with regulations
- Plan, develop and run user training programs for new and updated software applications, including train-the-trainer
- Develop and oversee the creation of software training classes, web based and face-to-face, with internal teams and outside training suppliers
- Communicate streamlined processes to IT for the development of enhanced computer systems
- Communicating business priorities to Information Technology
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing on enhanced computer systems
