The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Programmer Analyst to join the team in Everett, WA.
Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking a specialist to support multiple manufacturing and quality applications used by Interiors Responsibility Centers.
In this role, you will design, program, test, implement, document, and maintain software applications. You will gather and evaluate end-user requirements, write code, and build database objects from documented designs.
You will analyze application architecture to define security, compatibility, identify and resolve programming or architectural issues, and modify applications to maintain functionality. The role also includes addressing technical debt, monitoring system performance, and recommending improvements.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications
Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements
Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements
Performs testing, software security compliance and remediation, and documenting procedures for maintaining the as-built system
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Application Development
3+ years of experience using Microsoft .NET products in a software development environment
3+ years of experience using SQL for application interactions with databases (i.e. Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
3+ years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
3+ years of experience establishing, improving and reinforcing functional discipline for first time quality performance, on-time delivery, and productivity improvements
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning
Willing to work flexible hours, including on-call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Experience with common design patterns
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience with defining and reviewing business requirements

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
