Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-level Technical Order Certification/Verification Specialist to join the Technical Publications Team in San Antonio, TX.

The candidate will serve as primary point of contact for activity related to the certification and verification of technical orders being developed for aircraft maintenance and operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of various technical data elements and specifications to make recommendations applicable to technical order certification and/or verification activities

  • Prepares and maintains Technical Order Certification/Verification plan and all associated documentation related to the maintenance and operation of various aircraft systems/components

  • Provides project management support for technical data development ensuring data is developed and delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract requirements

  • Identifies requirements per statements of work and other contractual documents and ensures contracts reflect project requirements

  • Receives, coordinates and estimates impact of change requests

  • Conducts presentations and status reviews

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location (San Antonio, TX).

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) with ability to receive special program access (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing and/or maintaining technical orders

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Experience with quality assurance and technical order verification tasks

  • Experience working in military procedures, processes and technical orders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Earned Value Management

  • Experience with integrated scheduling

  • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience, 9 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100
