In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administrations (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Defines and develops complex programs and/or procedures written in a variety of programming languages for machining and inspection applications. Maintain vericut simulation software. Supports numerical control equipment procurement through development, testing and implementation. Assists with process engineering functions as needed.
Basic Qualification Needed to be Qualified for the Role:
- Minimum of four years of N/C programming experience on various types of N/C equipment and demonstrated ability to independently manage N/C assignments or projects. Knowledge of CNC machining and inspection processes.
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related degree or two additional years of direct work experience in N/C equipment programming in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
- US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy "Q" level security clearance.
