MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) High School graduate or GED
2) Minimum of two (2) years of experience in production control, material control, or related area, with emphasis in inventory analysis, order release, or inventory control
3) Proficiency in basic computing skills and beginning level Microsoft software packages
4) Proficiency in utilizing computerized supply chain manufacturing software.
5) Basic knowledge of manufacturing shop processes and practices OR basic knowledge of production inventory control concepts.
Additional requirements for Warehouse only
6) Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse operations experience
7) Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
(Identify functions affecting the airworthiness of the aircraft by using the prefix “CRITICAL”)
1) Maintain/analyze manufactured or purchased parts inventory.
2) Review parts requirements for scheduled aircraft to ensure adequate levels of inventory.
3) Process and expedite requests for work orders.
4) Initiate requisitions or release orders to maintain adequate inventory levels.
5) Process order corrections.
6) Validate requirements; clarify, purify, and initiate planning change requests to ensure accuracy.
7) Prepare, maintain, and distribute appropriate reports and work orders, as necessary.
8) Maintain Q.C. 40 grid and Q.C. 40 dates (at delivery).
Additional principal duties for Warehouse only
9) Prepare daily/weekly reports used in the Cycle Count process using Microsoft Office products.
10) Prepare daily/weekly reports used in the Limited Shelf Life process using Microsoft Office products.
