We are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to manage the shipping and receiving of parts, materials, cores, and equipment, while ensuring inventory is accurately replenished in the computer system. The role requires verifying packages for visible damage and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. Additionally, the Parts Specialist will perform shelf life audits and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
• Replenish inventory in the computer system.
• Verify packages for visible damage.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
• Check part number, serial number, and shelf life for traceability.
• Perform shelf life audits and cycle counts.

• 1-2 years of experience with aircraft parts or auto parts.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Verifiable high school diploma.
• Willingness to obtain DOT/IATA certifications.

• Experience in handling parts and materials.
• Competency in inventory control and computer data entry.

Work Environment

The position is located indoors at Teterboro Airport, NJ, working in a hanger environment. Appropriate attire includes a t-shirt, work pants, and boots. The role offers shifts including the overnight option, with a differential pay, ensuring a flexible work schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
