People Communication & Change Specialist

Your role

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Communication and Change Specialist to join our People Transformation team. Reporting to the Transformation Director, the Communication and Change Specialist will play a key role in driving effective communication strategies and supporting organisational change initiatives.

The People team is undergoing a 3-year transformation with over 30 projects planned or in flight spanning all areas of the candidate and employee lifecyle, including onboarding, recognition, HR technology, and service delivery. We are looking for a versatile individual to both lead our communication and change efforts, and otherwise help drive priority initiatives forward when required. The selected candidate will execute the Change & Communication plan for Op Model, Technology, and Service Delivery Implementation and drive our transformation programme communications, creating visuals and managing our newsletter. They will also handle People-related communications for our internal communication platform AerWaves, gathering requirements and collaborating with the Internal Comms team. We seek a proactive, adaptable team player to shape our journey by developing compelling messaging, supporting project documentation, and driving project success. The People Communication & Change Specialist should have experience in the following areas:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support project implementation and organisational change initiatives. This includes translating complex technical information into clear and compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Execute robust change & comms plan to effectively engage stakeholders, promote project awareness, and drive adoption of new processes and technologies, particularly related to the HR Operating Model transformation (process, role & technology).
  • Drive the Change & Communications agenda for our transformation programme by coordinating and supporting the production and distribution of communications materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Perform business analysis and requirements gathering to understand project objectives, stakeholder needs and success criteria, and assist in the development of project documentation, reports and presentations.
  • Manage our communication platform, Workvivo, by coordinating with People and Communication stakeholders to identify content and support teams in drafting and preparing information.
  • Administer the People pages on Workvivo and other communication channels, ensuring information is up-to-date and aligned with changes in policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for the People team on communication-related matters.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts, and adjust strategies as needed.

 

Your qualifications and key criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Change Management or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Change Management practitioner, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful change management and communication strategies for projects or initiatives.
  • Desirable experience in Communication initiatives.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and work with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and innovation, with a passion for driving positive change through effective communication and analysis.
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies for projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to adapt to work independently changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
  • Able to pass an aviation security vetting process, that includes an enhanced background check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport as this position is based in Dublin.
