JOB TITLE: People Systems & Support Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Headquarters or remote if approved
REPORTS TO: VP People
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
The People Systems & Support Specialist is a key player on the People Team, playing a pivotal role in optimizing the People Teams impact and ensuring a seamless experience for all team members. This role will be responsible for development and management of a centralized hub of HR administrative and operational processes, systems and resources. This role will be at the center of optimization, driving the development and deployment of solutions and systems that leverage technology to elevate team member experience, streamline core HR processes, improve efficiency, and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver a best-in-class shared services model focuses on meeting team members’ basic needs and optimizing People Team impact.
Overseeing planning and execution of administrative and operational support areas. Create and manage systems to address team member questions and administrative needs in partnership with ADP Comprehensive Services.
Leads effort related to the configuration, maintenance, administration, and support of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Includes project managing configuration and optimization roadmap items with ADP Comprehensive Services.
Support team member self-service by optimizing and maintaining the People Team systems and technology, such as HRIS, Intranet, Knowledge Base and AskSAM chatbot. Enable self-service through comprehensive communication campaigns and supplemental resources.
Collaborate with ADP Comprehensive Services, functional People Team leads, Technology Team, and other key stakeholders to collect and assess needs and develop systems roadmaps that enhance and optimize all People systems and technology. Actively solicit feedback to identify ongoing needs and opportunities for improvement.
Guarantee accurate and systematic data management. Partner with compliance and audit leaders to ensure implementation and management of required financial controls. Provide oversight and implement robust quality control and review processes for both the People Team systems and technologies. Ensure the HRIS workflows, Knowledge Base articles, policies, forms, and documents are comprehensive and accurate.
Review, analyze, and reconcile relevant data to track key performance indicators (SLAs). Provide People Team leadership and Company leadership with reporting and metrics to track and drive performance across key KPIs.
Qualifications/ Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in a Human Resources role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
Experience working in aviation is highly desirable.
Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality in all areas.
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and build relationships at all levels.
Excellent analytic, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to work and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Able to handle a diverse workload.
Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll, and compensation software, experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred).
Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check as required by airline regulations and company policies.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1968.
- Fluency in English.
- Computer, office equipment, phone skills.
