Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director, Pilot Operational Support, the Pilot Digital Solutions Specialist will be the focal point for all pilot questions related to Dassault Pilot Applications across multiple operating platforms. This Specialist will address Pilot Application technical and administrative support requests received from Falcon Operators. They will support virtual and onsite Pilot Application briefings to new and existing Falcon Operators. They will act as a key coordination point between the DFJ Pilot Operational Support Team and the DSOF team in France for all matters related to current and future Pilot Apps. This individual will also assist DFJ Sales, Flight Operations, Customer Service and Documentation Department’s with technical matters related to Dassault Pilot Applications.
 
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
  • Address routine both administrative & technical Falcon Pilot support requests related to Pilot Apps
  • Provide timely and technically accurate answers to customer pilots, coordinated with Dassault Aviation
  • Test new applications and provide feedback to the DSOF/App Development teams
  • Assist DFJ Flight Department and Customer Service Department with Pilot App technical matters.
  • Review or draft Service Documentation related to Dassault Pilot Apps
  • Brief Falcon operators during customer seminars or dedicated virtual or onsite ops briefings
  • Provide documented feedback regarding any significant input from operators which may improve or promote the current or future Dassault Pilot applications.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned in order to meet departmental or business objectives as needed
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Aviation, Information Technology (IT) or Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Two years’ experience dealing with aircraft operations, preferably corporate jets and especially Falcons
  • Proven knowledge of commercial and/or general aviation, preferably with turbojet aircraft.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc..)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and customer requests
  • The ability to travel both domestic and internationally (current Passport).
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • FAA-licensed aircraft pilot.
  • Previous experience in analyzing data to identify trends in order to manage quality
  • Knowledge of company procedures and organization.
  • Knowledge of aviation technical communications
  • Proficiency with “OneNote”
  • Proficient with “Siebel”
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to read write and communicate in French
