Position Responsibilities:
Obtain work packages from the ready-to-work file and perform jobs based on firing orders, priority lists, or assignments from the lead.
Use an online personal computer (PC) to access new paperwork packages issued by the lead throughout the shift.
Perform clerical work using a PC or typewriter to complete assignments, such as wire bundle rework.
Retrieve appropriate drawings, graphics, and sketches using computing systems when not available with shop aids.
Review work instructions from wire bundle revision records (WBRR) and obtain necessary parts from the parts control area (PCA).
Issue rework orders and ensure wire assemblers understand the instructions and have the required parts.
Update the status of wire bundles to be scrapped using the wire shop business management system (WBMS) per planning and engineering instructions.
Input current wire bundle status into various computer systems, including wire shop revision data (WSRD).
Monitor rework status and workflow to minimize interference with production.
Record recut orders for existing wire bundles in the WBMS and issue them to wire assemblers for rework.
Write reports on the WBRR paperwork face sheet for quality assurance and maintain rework history records.
Safely move wire bundles and parts using a push cart as required.
Consult with leads, supervisors, and inspection personnel on process or job-related issues.
Read, interpret, and apply electrical specifications to accomplish work assignments accurately.
Coordinate activities with electrical planning, illustration, and wire development groups to ensure effective communication and workflow.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to provide support to other locations based on business needs and will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
3+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience creating and revising wire bundles.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Bluestreak for Electrical Bundles.
Experience with Boeing Apps: WIRS, EWIRE, ENOVIA, WSCC, WBMS, REDARS.
Typical Education & Experience:
High school graduate or GED preferred.
