STS Aviation Services is hiring a Planning Administrator in Manchester, United Kingdom. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract supporting the Part 145 Production Planning team within a busy aviation MRO facility.
The Planning Administrator will support the efficient preparation, administration, tracking, and distribution of aircraft maintenance work packages. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage planning data, documentation, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Work Location: Manchester MRO facility
- Additional Hours: Additional hours or weekends may be required as dictated by the business
Role Purpose
The Planning Administrator will support the Part 145 Production Planning team within a busy aviation MRO facility, ensuring the efficient preparation and administration of aircraft maintenance work packages.
The role is responsible for maintaining accurate planning data, compiling workpacks, preparing documentation, and supporting planning activities across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and prepare aircraft maintenance workpacks and associated documentation
- Maintain and update maintenance planning systems and records if required
- Provide administrative support to help ensure deadlines are achieved
- Prepare and distribute work pack documentation and status updates
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and aviation regulatory requirements
- Assist with resource planning updates, material tracking, and ongoing work package administration
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function
Skills & Experience
- Previous administrative experience within a planning, operations, maintenance, or document control environment
- Experience within aviation, engineering, manufacturing, or MRO environments is desirable
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Working knowledge of AirbusWorld and Boeing Toolbox would be advantageous
- Training will be provided where required
