POSITION SUMMARY
Incorporates existing market tracking reports into Power BI. Researches and analyzes market conditions and aircraft valuations for Executive Aircraft. Establishes and maintains aircraft sales transaction database for all Embraer executive jets worldwide, as well as some non-Embraer executive jets. Defines aircraft values for the purposes of buying trade-in aircraft to support new aircraft sales. Maintains aircraft valuation databases.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Develop visualization and market tracking reports in Power BI.
- Implement adjustments to Power BI reports whenever appropriate, to better reflect the information needs of the team.
- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Research market conditions, determine pricing, trade-in values and handle the quoting process.
- Perform aircraft value analyses, transaction history and market comparisons.
- Collect and update data on pricing statistics, in support of sales campaigns.
- Gather data on competitors’ preowned aircraft pricing and transaction history.
- Compile and analyze statistical data on past sales and trends to forecast future values.
- Maintain databases of aircraft and general industry statistics for use in research.
- Manage and maintain industry relationships with brokers, dealers and vendors.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
- BA/BS degree required.
- Pilot License beneficial but not mandatory.
- A&P License beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as an intermediate level individual contributor in a functional group with relevant experience.
- Previous experience with Power BI or similar tool.
- Highly desired to have previous experience in the aviation industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in Power BI or similar tool
- Knowledge of industry policies and practices.
- Embraer product familiarization is preferred.
- Basic market research principles.
- Research methods for data collection.
- Statistical and econometric modeling.
- Report presentation and presentation techniques.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Language proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus.
