How you’ll make an impact:
- Monitor and analyze forward bookings and revenue trends by spanet and cabin class to optimize pricing and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
- Provide insightful analysis to support targeted spaneting campaigns, ensuring our pricing decisions strengthen campaign effectiveness.
- Use data-driven insights to report and clearly communicate the success of sales initiatives and projects.
- Track and proactively respond to competitor pricing strategies, recommending adjustments to maintain Air New Zealand’s competitive advantage.
- Ensure fare accuracy across direct and Global Distribution System (GDS) channels, supporting seamless customer experiences.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Comply with all business and regulatory requirements to maintain operational excellence.
What we’re looking for:
- A strategic thinker who understands economic drivers and thrives in a competitive, evolving environment.
- Proven commercial analysis experience with a focus on pricing strategy.
- Exceptional analytical skills and storytelling capability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
- A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other analytical tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders confidently.
- Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
- Expertise with airline revenue management and/or airfares will be an advantage
