We are looking for a Detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Process / QA Specialist. The successful candidate will assist our team in evaluating and analyzing PCC processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of defined processes within an organization.
  • Ensuring processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to process performance, identifying trends, recommending improvements.
  • Interviewing process owners, stake holders, and employees to gather information on processes.
  • Documenting findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Communicating results verbally and through audit reports.
  • Conduct reverse product audits, starting from shipping and working backwards to contract/PO review.
  • Review inspection data and ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify calibration records to ensure they meet the requirements of AS/ISO standards.
  • Be able to follow job instructions and review training/competency to ensure adherence to processes.
  • Identify and address foreign object and debris risks in the manufacturing process.
  • Familiarity with 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) audits to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Review preventative maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Assess potential single point failures (people, equipment, tools, etc) and review actions taken to mitigate risks.
  • Review succession planning for subject matter expert roles to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity, training and competency.
  • Evaluation of risk-related tools (PFMEA, Risk Registers, SWOT, etc.), and assess how risks are identified and addressed at the site level.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardization to improve the overall control environment.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001, AS9102 and familiarity with other aerospace industry standards.

  • Understanding of First Articles, traceability requirements, quality documentation requirements, control plans, root causes and effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel 50 to 70 to PCC facilities.

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $110000 to $125000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 20 of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company’s performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
