The Procurement and Logistics - Data Analyst will plan and conduct independent analysis of procurement and logistics data across critical business areas, using specialist analytical and supply chain skills, with the objective of enabling data-driven decision-making and providing assurance on supplier performance, cost efficiency, and contract compliance. Provide insights on spend analysis, strategic sourcing, and operational risk categorisation to support cost optimisation, supplier management, and sustainable supply chain performance.
In this role you will:
- Drive the digital transformation of procurement by deploying analytics tools, implementing data governance standards, and supporting process automation.
- Develop, manage, and automate data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for procurement and logistics stakeholders.
- Analyse procurement spends, contract compliance, supply chain performance, and benefits realisation to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement enhancements to reporting and data management processes ensuring date accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and visually impactful reports and dashboards to senior management and internal stakeholders to support decision making.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment, data consistency, and compliance across platforms.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Honours with 5+ years in Procurement. Non-aircraft.
- Degree - Preferably in Data Analytics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in procurement analytics, supply chain reporting, or related data analysis roles preferably within aviation, logistics, transportation sectors with strong knowledge of the source-to-pay process and associated reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and understanding data models, with proven ability to manage, transform, and analyse large, complex data sets to generate actionable insights in a fast paced, global
environment. - Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and/or ECC for developing dashboard, visual analytics, and impactful reports that support decision-making.
- Experience with Jagger, Oracle or other Source to Contract and Procure to Pay Systems, with the ability to integrate data for enhanced visibility and compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
