What are your contributions to the team?
- Act as a Process Analyst on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects, offering technical and strategic expertise with strong focus on Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Simulation, and Model Based Definition (MBD).
- Train, coach, and support engineers on design standards, MBD practices, and PLM methodologies.
- Provide operational support and resolve complex PLM issues in collaboration with Siemens and external partners.
- Maintain a full understanding of Bombardier’s PLM ecosystem, including integrations with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Quality Management System (QMS), and suppliers.
- Conduct technology watch to stay current on PLM infrastructures, innovations, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead creation of functional designs to improve or develop IT standards (Building Blocks) and services.
- Collaborate with other IT areas to deliver project outputs and ensure alignment.
- Prioritize and evaluate business information solution demands with key partners, applying an end to end vision.
- Support project kickoffs and execution, including strategy and effort estimation aligned with project management frameworks.
- Develop process documentation, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistent usage, compliance, and innovation across the enterprise.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, or a Technical College degree combined with 5 years of equivalent work experience.
- You have more than 8 years of professional IT experience in one of the IT functional areas or in digital/PLM transformation.
- You have experience in PLM system administration or configuration, as well as a solid understanding of defense and civilian environment, including controlled environments such as ITAR and Controlled Goods.
- You are proficient in CAD and have knowledge of BOM (EBOM, DBOM)
- You have the ability to influence stakeholders, gain adoption of engineering best practices, and drive change without direct authority.
- You have good knowledge of networks, systems, databases, integrations, storage, security, cloud technologies, and engineering simulations.
- You possess planning and organizational skills to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload within multiple projects to deliver PLM capabilities on schedule and aligned with program milestones.
- You possess strong English and French communication skills and can effectively manage stakeholders across engineering, program, and supplier teams.
- You have the ability to effectively express technical concepts, both verbally and in writing.
