In your role, you will
- Advise senior management on product safety matters and reports
- Develop SMS (Safety Management System) standards and tools
- Develop SMS training material and provide training
- Assess effectiveness of SMS deployment
- Participate in consultative organizations / groups in the industry
- Lead and coordinate product safety activities within Bombardier
- Manage strategic projects by coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Perform risk analysis and develop contingency plans
- Facilitate problem solving work sessions
- Define and map business processes (operational and transactional)
- Develop communication material.
As our ideal candidate
- You possess a technical college degree or bachelor’s in aerospace or in another technical related field
- You have a minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
- You are knowledgeable of SMS related regulations and international standards (SM-001)
- You have experience with project management principles and tools (an asset)
- You have experience with risk management principles and tools (an asset)
- Experience in complex problem-solving tools (PSS)
- You demonstrate teamwork abilities and are innovative
- You possess strong interpersonal skills
- You possess leadership abilities and skilled at influencing others
- You master the Microsoft Office suite
