The Production Control Assistant (PCA) plays a pivotal role in the work booth operations. The PCA audits aircraft maintenance documentation both in-progress and at completion followed by data entry and scanning audited copies into archive. Creates repair station record of a completed work package and ships to the customer. Perform routine and specialized clerical support duties in accordance with standard operating procedures. The Production Control Assistant uses personal computer applications necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Qualified and proficient in all required customer data entry systems and portals.

Data enters work packages accurately, in a timely manner, on a consistent basis.

Performs audit of work packages for accuracy, in a timely manner.

Works in tandem with the Planning Department to add items to the work scope including engineering items and after hours work order changes.

Attaches material certificates to work cards.

Follows up on work cards needing corrections.

Maintains a running tally of audited paperwork.

Scans work packages creating repair station record of maintenance.

Files work cards and non-routine work cards accurately and in a timely manner.

Provides a shift turnover via e-mail daily highlighting any impending action items.

Ships completed work packages to customers as needed and uploads work packages in customer systems as required.

Key support within maintenance work booth to assist in updating reports, document control and informing Project Manager of needed document corrections.

Follows all controlled work booth and safety procedures and wears/uses appropriate safety equipment for the work being performed (as required).

Performs other duties as assigned.
