Project Management Specialist -Service Contract Renewals - Estimation

Location: Mason, OH hybrid work environment

As a Project Management Specialist -Service Contract Estimation here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process and playing a crucial role in determining project costs and pricing strategies.

This position ensures the accuracy and competitiveness of project bids, supporting the organizations growth and profitability. Are you an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career?

Join us as a Project Management Specialist - Service Contract Estimation and become a pivotal player in our estimating team. You will report directly to our Sr Project Supervisor, LSS Commercial Service Operations and youll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, analyze project plans and specifications, and develop detailed cost estimates.

Your expertise in estimating software and tools, as well as your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our estimates.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the estimation process for small to medium to scale projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop cost estimates

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and current actuals to determine project scope and identify potential risks

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

• Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators

• Participate in bid review meetings and present cost estimates to senior management

• Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies related to estimating
