Description:Assists the Asset Management team in the daily performance of tasks to also include effective communication of tasks and/or status within the Asset Management team.

Lab Asset Control Assistant Required Tasks:

Function as multi-program Capital/Government Property custodian – perform inventory, update Tracker and PROP
• Assist with the reconciliation of scanned reports
• Conduct asset scanning
• Run and disseminate monthly Unclassified Asset
• Receive, unpack and induct incoming
• Properly disposition assets as per Capital and program-led Government disposition procedures
• Generate DD1149’s using SILC database
Utilize proprietary and government databases to coordinate shipments
• Prepare weekly template status report and present in team
• Coordinate with Vendors and Program leads to support RMS security compliance (Closed area logs/SOV’s)
• Support closed storage area staffing
• Disseminate emails for missing assets
• Provide guidance on proper marking techniques for classified documentation hard disks and media
• Provides feedback and support to customers, DTA’s and CDC owners
• Generates CDC ownership reports and updates
• Support Customer and internal audits
• Control ingress and egress of classified and unclassified hardware
• Analysis of Confluence and Tracker databases for sanitization procedures
• Tracker database analysis per program request - locate requested assets
• Perform lab walk-throughs
• Identify and resolve potential security and property discrepancies
• Create and maintain ASW location maps

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Additionally we are seeking candidates with expertise in:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and use the following management tools; SILC, P2P, Tracker, PROP, ADR, and E-Shipper and Material Movement Request
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Government Property and logistics of accountability is desired.
Knowledge of Property Management FAR, procurement practices, policies and procedures is desired.
Past experience with Government systems that account for and disposition US Government property and logistics of contracts as it relates to Property Management is desired.
Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations is desired.
A diverse background in multiple Property Management environments (DOD, International and Commercial) is desired.
Experience with government contracting including modifications, to losing contracts and gaining contracts of government property, demonstrate knowledge of surveys, audits, and contract closeout as it relates to disposition of government property is desired.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is desired.
NPMA membership and certification is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
