Your Role:
The Quality Enablement Specialist role reports directly to the Quality Enablement Manager and has the responsibility to deliver the Mission Assurance methodology into program delivery whilst supporting the embedding of sub elements of the QMS into program deliverables.
You will also have accountability for:
- Undertaking surveillance audits as per the Master Audit Plan delivering formal reports on to the Quality Enablement Manager and Quality and Mission Assurance Manager.
- Conducting complex Quality Acceptance Test Procedures, Verification and Validation activities, Configuration and Cable Audits for Program/Project product and/or service deliverables as required.
- Conducting Quality validation and delivery of consistent certification of conformance to design statement of requirements and supporting First Article Inspections as required.
- Assisting in the review of Functional and QMS documents, including regular amendment and update, engagement with stakeholders for continuous improvement and providing recommendations for process improvement.
- Assisting in the delivery of Quality Reporting to the Q&MA Functional Lead and NGA Leadership Teams.
About You:
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1
- Formal qualifications as a Lead Auditor issued by an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Diploma or higher in an appropriate technical/analytical discipline (e.g. engineering, computer sciences, systems engineering, information technology) issued by an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Extensive experience in performing ISO9001 or ASD9100 Series Standards Quality Audits in a multidiscipline and Defence engineering environment
- The ability to read, understand and investigate solutions to achieve practical outcomes.
High quality written communication skills, particularly in developing reports and Meeting minutes. - Demonstrated experience working in a small team, organising own work independently, and delivering
to deadlines within an environment of competing priorities. - Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships (across diverse groups including technical and project areas).
- Demonstrated Quality Specialist experience in the deployment and implementation of new programs would be an advantage for the execution of the position.
