LM Quality Control Analyst supports developing and implementing Quality Assurance policies and procedures for F-35 Flight Test activities at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Candidate will support development of inspection procedures and audit processes for flight line and ground operations compliant with DCMAI-8210. Candidate will be required to support development of flight test performance metrics related to Quality Assurance, auditing flight test processes and perform surveillance according to Quality Management Plans. Performs duties involving Aircraft Ground Damage Investigation (AGDI) by providing any information, items, witness statements and fluid samples collected by Quality and Mission Success (QM&S) personnel. Recommends corrective action where necessary and develops quality control procedures along with area improvement strategy and planning. Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance. Individual will interface with Flight Test Engineers, Flight Test Site Management, Operations Personnel, Quality Inspectors and the Government Inspection Office. Individual may be required to perform occasional supervisory duties for up to 10 inspectors. Position may require work on odd shifts. Position may require up to 10 of travel.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications and apply their intent for evaluating acceptance of quality products.
- Prior aircraft ground operations experience on active flight line.
- Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System and DCMA Instruction 8210 Requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
- Knowledgeable of FOD and Tool Control processes, ground operations and flight release processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with electronic work instruction systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
