Role Summary
* In this role, you will support quality operations for aviation products by coordinating First Article Inspections (FAI), ensuring compliance with FAA certification procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation of parts, assemblies, and installations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation or quality operations.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Must be a U.S. person eligible to work onsite. Preferred Skills
* You will have experience with continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt certification preferred).
* You will have training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and CATIA.
* You will have experience in technical writing and familiarity with Bell systems such as ENOVIA, SAP, and QlikView.
* You will have knowledge of FAA conformity procedures, including 14 CFR Part 21 and 8130-9 statements of conformity.
* You will have experience working with ODA Unit Members or FAA designees preparing conformity packages. Job Duties / Functions
* You will assist and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
* You will resolve CAMs issues related to FAIs and assist in the creation and tracking of First Article Requirement Records (FARR).
* You will review planned instructions to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
* You will maintain and verify documentation, build records, Certificates of Conformance, 8130-9 forms, and material traceability records.
* You will provide status updates and reports as requested.
* You will identify opportunities to engage the workforce in building quality into products.
* You will maintain knowledge of department and plant policies, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
* You will support a team environment focused on both compliance and quality enhancement.
