1st Shift 9/80 Schedule $28–$48/hr based on experience

Your Mission: Shaping Quality Standards in AviationAs a Quality Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our repair stations and flight research operations meet stringent FAA and internal quality standards. You’ll be hands-on in maintaining, updating, and innovating our Quality Management System (QMS), keeping us inspection-ready and compliance-driven at all times.

What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain QMS procedures, Repair Station Quality Manuals, and Training Manuals
Create and revise FAA-required documentation including technician rosters and training protocols
Lead the development and delivery of standard training modules using Brain Shark
Monitor and track RCCA processes related to commercial quality escapes
Author and implement Drug & Alcohol Testing Procedures
Update training records and extend PC certifications
Support the integration of new warehouses into the QMS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation
Ensure all work aligns with FAA regulatory requirements (14 CFR Part 145) and internal standards
Work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned quality projects efficiently and accurately
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent technical training and experience
7–10 years of relevant experience in quality operations or regulatory compliance
Prior experience in a 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station
Demonstrated ability to develop internal procedures and lead training efforts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project & Visio)
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and quality systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with government agencies
Familiarity with Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement methodologies, including statistical analysis
Highly organized with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Brain Shark or similar training platforms
Background in project management and risk assessment within an aerospace environment
Prior involvement with quality escape tracking and resolution

Pay Details: $28.00 to $48.00 per hour
