Job Summary:
This position is responsible for a wide variety of quality and process-related activities including supporting production goals and quality goals as well as assisting with the facilitation of problem-solving activities.
In this role, you will:
Local Area Network Manager- assists new employees with ordering / obtaining access to necessary hardware and software.
Internal Audit Team- is a member of the plant-wide internal audit team.
External Audits- assists external auditors with information requests and corrective actions as needed.
Department home page management- updating of departmental website.
Overtime administrator- will act as a backup for the scheduling of overtime assignments for hourly employees.
Document administration and records controls- manages the department’s document control system, ensuring that documents are accurate and kept up to date.
Training system documentation- administers the department’s electronic training records system, ensuring training gaps are identified and addressed.
Understands and implements procedures to comply with Davenport Works Business Quality Plans.
Provide salaried and hourly training presentations for Quality Systems components for new employees.
Acts as resource or subject matter expert for problem solving initiatives in conjunction with processes.
Other duties as assigned.
You have:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing environment.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
