Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality System Specialist (Experienced/Career) to support the Data Management Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
This position will focus on data processing, data transformation, and quality auditing of data. As part of the quality organization, you will support factory integration projects that enable Boeings digital transformation.
Position Responsibilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Supports reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements in the development of quality assurance plans.
Assists with maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics.
Collects data to support analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of routine problems.
Collects data to support research and analysis of performance reports to improve process capability.
Collects data to support Quality source selection activity. Supports preparation for hardware, software and system level audits.
Compiles data for material review disposition.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing South Carolina (BSC).
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in a business or technical field
3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
3+ years of experience with data mining, curating, processing and analysis
3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
3+ years of experience with query performance tuning and indexing strategies.
Familiarity with data modeling, database design principles (normalization), data warehousing concepts, and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS).
Knowledge of relevant programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) is often beneficial for integration and automation.
Proficient with Data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Basic understanding of data quality, validation, and metadata management
Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Communication skills to work with users and developers.
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
