*Develop relationships within the business to drive internal mobility, and succession planning needs to support the Talent Strategy to promote internal talent first.
*Liaise with Talent Development colleagues to recommend development plans or flag pipeline gaps.
*Target “Hard-to-Fill” positions, through networking, and unconventional sourcing methods.
*Establish relationships with appropriate Networking Groups, i.e., IEEE, AIAA, ASME, Network After Work etc.
*Participate in targeted job fairs and trade show events to network with and recruit the top talent in the industry
*Meet with Hiring Managers to discuss position requirements, organizational fit and sourcing strategy.
*Planning, coordination and participation in targeted hiring events/career fairs.
*Sourcing and screening internal and external candidates for the down-select of the best 3 – 5 final candidates to be presented to hiring managers, to include diverse candidates.
*Assess potential candidates for fit within the position identified, including skills, education, and experience and also competency and cultural alignment.
*Maintenance of the internal and external job posting systems.
*Utilization of external candidate sources including advertising, internet posting, local government offices, and alternative sources.
*Establish relationships with well-qualified candidates, both internal and external and build the pipeline of passive candidates.
*Employment offer development and negotiation.
*Support of University Relations and Recruiting, including entry-level engagement and hiring, interns and LDPs.
*Coordinate drug screens, physicals and background checks.
*Applicant tracking and maintenance of appropriate/accurate records for employment federal and state compliance reporting.
*Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or other related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
*5 or more years of experience recruiting at the level referenced below is required.
*Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Taleo preferred.
*Experience recruiting of a variety of professional, managerial, executive and touch labor level positions across multiple disciplines.
*Strong ability to proactively search and recruit for candidates internally and externally, with a drive to fill positions with the best talent in a timely manner.
*Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers and desire for strong customer service.
*Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy and articulate the needs of a position.
*Ability to work in a team environment.
