AGL is seeking a Recruiting Specialist with strong recruitment skills in support of Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) at three Army Continuous Transformation (CT) focused locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) locations during fly-away missions. A Recruiting Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across the CT locations, from sourcing talented candidates to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with company policies and goals.
Responsibilities
- Recruits, screens, and interviews candidates to fill organizational roles.
- Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
- Reviews and assesses applicants’ education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
- Schedules interviews and coordinates interviewers or panels. Tests and scores applicants and gather feedback from other interviewers.
- Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities.
- Prepares and extends job offers. Notifies applicants of rejection. Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Work closely with the recruiting team to administer and track the Employee Referral Program.
- Recruitment efforts with local outreach and recruiting events, development of job descriptions for job postings; posting job requisitions in iCIMS; Interviewing and skills testing.
- Track hiring is conducted through external recruitment agencies and temporary staffing firms.
- Provides active support for recruiting and onboarding activities including working with HR Administrator to ensure new hires complete all required onboarding activities and successfully integrate into the workforce.
- Develop recurring reports to maintain candidate status updates.
- Collect & analyze data, use quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to assist in the monthly reporting of Recruiting KPI measurement and recurring client specific reporting.
- Additional duties and project support as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational effectiveness, business administration, or related areas.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentations; ability to speak confidently and effectively to varied audiences; proven professional writing ability.
- Ability to handle HR information and data both confidentially and sensitive
- Excellent organizational skills, manages change effectively and successfully juggles multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other members of HR Shared Service
- Eagerness to learn the organization and capability needs within a complex business
- Must be US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
