Job Description:

Job Summary:
The Repair & Warranty Specialist has the primary function of administering repairs for our North American operators. The Repair Administrator is the dedicated point of contact for our airline customers, assisting them with all facets of their repair operation. The administration of repairs involves Airbus proprietary equipment as well as supplier equipment that is not repairable in the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Repair administration of Airbus proprietary and Airbus supplier equipment including coordination of shipments, monitoring of repair performance, using exchange programs when needed and ensuring Airworthiness Certification of airline repairs.
● Providing customer support through weekly customer reports on repair activity and performance and information on ASCO services and cost savings.
● Ensuring all documentation is available in order to receive proper Airworthiness Certification. Assist Airlines with specific quality requirements.
● Identify areas or issues of concern regarding repairs and advise Supervisor, Senior Management. Provide daily, weekly and monthly open repair status, monthly performance statistics and level of airline satisfaction to Management.
● Coordinate repairs with warehouse personnel, Quality Assurance inspectors and freight forwarders. Assist in invoicing when needed.
● Responsible for the monitoring, tracking and reporting of all Lease/Loan activities, which includes interfacing with the Customer and developing an effective lease/loan/exchange program with Airline and MRO Management.
● The function will develop non-existing and enhance existing procedures for lease/loan/exchange processes in coordination with Airbus Spares Hamburg Management towards the mutual benefit of the Customer and Airbus.
● Repair Network and Capability checks confirmation with local and EU repair stations.
● Tracking financials and issuing invoices and reporting data.
● Constant interaction with the Quality departments, ensuring the record keeping for Flight history and Traceability such as RSC transfer datasheets.
● Non-Incident and Non-use statements record keeping.

Additional Responsibilities:
The position is also responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of spares requirements for special programs such as Service Bulletin retrofits, mod campaigns and Norias. The position will act as the first point of contact for customers on all related matters as well as a focal point for all coordination with Europe. This will involve working with both Customer and Airbus Spares
Hamburg Program Management to resolve all related spares support issues while coordinating with the Airbus Organization to ensure the customer’s needs are met.

● BS degree in Aeronautics / Aeronautical Engineering is preferred

● Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
