Position Summary: Responsible for administering repair purchasing activity within the Material Group.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Responsible for expediting daily repair purchasing activity, including limited price negotiation, quote approvals, and delivery schedule.
• Coordinates with Sales team to fulfill customer expediting needs, assists in complaint resolution, warranty/order status and other related information.
• Responsible for compiling information and analysis as required.
• Prioritizes repair order activity in support of established business objectives.
• Expedites products/services to ensure they are delivered within schedule.
• Responsibility for non-conformance resolution, initiating COD/CIA requests and auctioning all drop shipment activities.
• Assists the relevant Repair Administrator in preparing POs if required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:
• H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Bachelors degree a plus.
• Previous purchasing experience a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs. (standard for office roles)
