We are seeking a Security Specialist to support our Special Access Program portfolio in Richardson.  The position will be responsible for providing oversight to ensure compliance with all personnel security requirements and to maintain security posture of assigned programs and areas.

**This is an onsite position in Richardson, TX **

What YOU will do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain personnel security protocols, procedures, standards, and document control processes throughout the life cycle.

• Evaluate personnel security suitability and eligibility for SAP access.

• Collect required documentation and prepare PAR packages for submittal to government.

• Maintain security databases, personnel security files, and support document control processes in accordance with government requirements.

• Gather required details and prepare reportable information reports for the government.

• Investigate of security incidents and non-compliance; prepare incident reports and recommended corrective actions.

• Consult with management and legal staff on personnel security matters.

• Maintain accurate access control records and personnel rosters.

• Provide and support escorting of uncleared personnel for access control.

• Create reports and metrics for leadership tracking.

• Provides security guidance and answers security related questions.

• Apprises internal stakeholders of security changes in government security requirements and procedures.

• Conducts security self-inspection program and initiates actions to correct deficiencies and improve the overall security posture across each program area.

• Support to other security functions, indoctrinations, debriefings, etc. as needed.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.

• Eligibility to receive and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with current SSBI.

• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with a broad range of personnel.

• Must be willing to travel domestically – Minimum travel (05-10), generally supporting other company facilities.

• Successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; willing to work in a secure office environment as a member of the security team; and able to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced program environment

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
