As a Security Specialist, you will support SNCs risk-focused security program in the protection of company and customer information, people, and assets. You will facilitate business and mission success through security customer service and efficient administrative security processes. You will handle classified and sensitive material, assist in the development and implementation of security compliance requirements, support security awareness education and training, and participate in security compliance assessments. As a Security Specialist II, you will support all facets of SNCs Security Program to include personnel security, document control, DD254 review and preparation, visitor access and control, physical security, and supporting security investigations. You will also have the opportunity to expand your security knowledge across a wide range of security disciplines and participate in internal security working groups and special project initiatives. As a Security Specialist II, you will be responsible for lifecycle management of all physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarms. You will coordinate with internal resources and external vendors for design and procurement of new systems and modification or disestablishment of existing systems. You will ensure these systems remain current and operational, and coordinate with vendors for repair when needed. You will also explore and evaluate emerging technology and solutions, and available enhancements/integrations for existing systems. Travel to support system design, installation, or troubleshooting may be required (<10).
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in security, military, or administrative fields
- Strong verbal and electronic communication skills
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and possess a strong attention to detail
- The ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Top Security Clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity with security regulations and best practices
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical security systems
- Previous employment with a technical solutions/physical security integrator
- Knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)
- Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software
- Military or Defense Contractor experience
