Position Summary:

The ​Senior ​Analyst, Product and Partnerships for JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) is passionate about growing our products and businesses in the travel space. This person is a strategic thinker, effective executor and strong communicator. Working in close partnership with the Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, the candidate of choice will manage our existing product partnerships while also identifying and establishing new ones. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other Product Managers on the launch of new travel products and enhancements, and working to ensure a cohesive approach in customer targeting, product offerings, and marketing efforts. 

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development of the Commercial product strategy - owning the research and analysis and driving the insights to prioritize strategic initiatives. 

  • Project manage the launch of new travel products and enhancements - coordinating product, Tech and marketing efforts to ensure timely and successful launches. 

  • Once launched, provide regular reporting and business insights into the commercial performance of aforementioned travel products.   

  • Drive changes to existing and new products based on insights to increase customer attachment, satisfaction and return purchase.  

  • Organize, facilitate and document critical team meetings regarding business management and product launches.  

  • Assist in the development of creative assets for marketing campaigns.  

  • Build scalable processes using combination of documentation (SOPs), delegation and automation. 

  • Be an ‘advocate’ of JTP at industry conferences, events and gatherings. 

  • Provides necessary support to peer groups across the JTP organization. 

  • Other complex projects and duties as assigned.  

 

Job Requirements:
:  

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma. 

  • ​​Three​ (3) year​s​ of consulting,​ strategic,​ product or business development experience. 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Experience with the basics of project management (Gantt, task tracking). 

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Products.  

  • Experience with business analysis using Excel, Spreadsheets, etc. 

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and recommendations to peers and department leaders (both written and verbal). 

  • Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays. 

  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).  

  • Self-motivated and flexible to a constantly changing environment. 

  • Effective research skills including the ability to analyze information and make determinations in accordance with company guidelines. 

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check. 

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. 

  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.  

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or ​five​ (5) years of relevant job experience equivalent. 

  • Knowledge of ecommerce and online travel industry. 

  • Experience launching new customer products or customer journeys.  

  • Track record of presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders. 

 

Crewmember Expectations:  

  • Regular attendance and punctuality. 

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. 

  • Able to maintain a professional appearance. 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. 

  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.

  • Computer and other office equipment. 

 

Work Environment:  

  • Traditional office environment. 

 

Physical Effort:
