Boeing Enterprise Business Supply Chain Information Technology (IT) Systems is seeking a Senior Business Functional Analyst to support our current Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Supply Chain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) associated inventory and warehouse systems in Everett, WA; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.
The IT Business Functional Analysts will collaborate closely with business and product stakeholders to turn business needs into clear, actionable requirements with testable acceptance criteria, and they are embedded in the IT product organization that delivers the solution.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads efforts to define and document detailed business requirements
Learns business unit’s inventory fulfillment and logistics business flows, processes and products
Facilitates regular requirement gathering and design sessions with the business product owners/users and communicates expectations to the IT development team
Uses a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, use cases, scenarios and business process flows
Negotiates solutions that satisfy requirements and deliver business value while ensuring consistency and security standards
Communicates and writes work to develop strong relationships with business customers, IT, Infrastructure, vendors and partners
Identifies process improvement opportunities by reviewing existing processes and data
Uses a variety of techniques to document and map complex business processes to ensure requirements are clear to help deploy the right solution with first time quality (ie. epic/capability/feature/user story, Unified Modeling Language (UML) models)
Ensures requirements are testable and traceable
Develops and executes test cases to validate the requirements
Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions and escalations as needed
Participates and contributes to supply chain inventory warehouse capabilities roadmap
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in business requirements and analysis on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with management interface
3+ years of experience with Supply Chain
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Management, and/or equivalent work experience
Experience in supply chain in aerospace manufacturing operations

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $173,650
