The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Administration Specialist to join the Enterprise Core Contracts team in Hazelwood, MO.

This senior level position plays an important role in analyzing U.S. Government Acquisition policies, procedures and requirements. The team member will partner within a cross-functional team of professionals across the company to shape future regulatory policy. The role will interact directly with Leadership, Government Operations, Legislative Affairs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management and other specialty groups to implement business guidance.

The selected candidate will support the Contracts organization throughout Government and Enterprise Services over a range of diverse activities in the Core team. The types of roles include contract clause, term and conditions analysis and enterprise best practice implementation, regulatory and industry advocacy, compliance and audit activities, and policy and procedure support necessary to enable and empower The Boeing Company. The successful candidate will support multiple projects and service roles as part of our Contracts Center of Expertise (COE) while leveraging professional experience and financial acumen.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assesses process risks and control adequacy

  • Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines

  • Leads coordination of special requests for approval and exception/interpretation of contractual matters

  • Performs due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities to ensure implementation of contracting policies and practices

  • Leads the development and documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media

  • Leads monitoring, reconciliation and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with government contracts (acquire and/or execution)

  • 5+ years of experience working with the United States Government (USG) acquisition process and government agencies (acquire and/or execution)

  • 5+ years of experience negotiating commercial or legal terms and conditions in a contract and administering commercial contracts (acquire and/or execution)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Work Shift:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $98,600 - $133,400
