Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist. This position will provide Earned Value Management (EVM) Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to BDS programs. Join our team in one of the listed location options. This role can be based at any Boeing BDS location.

Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include Leading Integrated Planning & Scheduling process and Earned Value Management (EVM) compliance activities:

  • Lead/Advise less experienced peers on compliance elements within the IP&S Home Office

  • Ensure Coordination with IP&S Programs

  • Ensure Coordination with Finance EVM CoE

  • Review and analysis of metrics, IMS Data, CDRLs for EVM Compliance

  • Coordinate with DCMA Surveillance teams

  • Provide Support for DCMA EVM Surveillance events via focused coaching and mock interviews with CAMS, schedulers, and Program Managers.

  • Support program preparation of DCMA-required Corrective Action Plans.

  • Represent IP&S for Boeing in National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) meetings.

  • Deliver EVM Compliance training to program personnel.

  • Coordinate program data cleanup with program personnel.

  • Develop and coordinate IP&S process revisions

  • Advise and recommend Integrated Planning & Scheduling best practices, processes, techniques, and tools to program personnel.

  • Oversee deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.

  • Evaluate highly complex and/or multiple schedule changes to ensure EVM & process compliance.

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to IP&S development programs.

  • Field and accurately respond to Ad Hoc compliance-related questions from schedulers, CAMs, and others from across the enterprise.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in the development, implementation, and training of processes and tools.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), and experience in finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, program management, or project management roles.

  • 10+ years of experience in earned value management, integrated scheduling, program planning, project management, Industrial Engineering or Business Operations, risk management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)

  • Knowledge of the DFARS clause 252.234-7002 – Earned Value Management System (EVM)

  • Knowledge of the American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance Standard 748, Earned Value Management Systems (ANSI/EIA-748) guidelines.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (EXCEL, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years related work experience, 19 years related work experience, etc.).

Travel Requirement:

The position will require approximately 50 travel.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $123,250 - $192,050
