TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.


TKO is seeking a Linux System Administrator to support the Integration Team on the STO TTO, a highly visible cyber sensor and analytic modernization program. This engineer will specifically support the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) initiative to support defense of our nation’s most critical unclassified and classified networks. This position will support all the cloud environments, both unclassified and classified that are part of the overall CI infrastructure footprint.


Required Skills/Experience:
• Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings
• System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades and security patching and IAVA management
• Troubleshooting of services (Tier 1/2 level)
• Configuration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef
• RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience
• Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira

Basic Qualifications:
Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
