Job Description
We are looking for a Senior MPS Planner to join our team. This role is essential for the execution and implementation of the long-term production plan, the accurate measurement of completed plans, and the support of MPS planners in reporting and tool development. You will ensure accurate reporting, monitor deviations, and contribute to continuous improvement in our planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Creation and Management: Develop and maintain long-term production schedules, taking into account demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity constraints.
 - Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineering, production planning, purchasing, and logistics to align schedules and ensure workflow efficiency.
 - Monitoring and Analysis: Track schedule performance, identify deviations, and analyze root causes of issues or delays.
 - Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in scheduling tools and methodologies. Actively participate in S4/HANA implementation and Rapid Response development.
 - Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present performance reports, identify potential risks, and maintain documentation across all GOPS facilities in compliance with RTX Lifecycle Program Management standards.
 
Qualifications You Must Have
- University degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience
 - Experience in master scheduling and production planning in SAP
 - Experience with Rapid Response Supply Planning module
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
 - Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions
 - Proficiency in scheduling software (SAP required, Kinaxis required, APS preferred)
 - Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes
 - Continuous improvement mindset; exposure to Lean Manufacturing or CORE methodologies preferred
