Job Description:

Provide planning and support around the delivery of insights-driving marketing communications campaigns and activities in the outstation under the direction of the Manager Marketing Communications (MMC). Collaborate with relevant Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand (CCM&B) Specialist Managers on execution, as part of the of the Dubai-based global CCM&B team. Ensure all outputs are on-time, on-brief, and on-brand, compliant with local regulations, innovative and cost-effective.




  • Marketing Communications Planning and Execution: Support the MMC and CCM&B Specialist Teams with the planning and execution of marketing communications campaigns and activities to help drive objective-driven marketing communications planning, ensuring speed to market, translations, and cost-effectiveness.




  • Local Activation of Sponsorships and Events: Coordinate assigned local sports sponsorship and events, accountable to the relevant Sponsorships & Events Manager. Provide on-site support and materials for sponsored sports events, local consumer and trade events, presentations, road shows and exhibitions as directed by the relevant CCM&B Sponsorships & Events manager.




  • Marketing Communications Tracking: Help track and monitor the implementation of marketing communications activities across the outstation, ensuring they meet the commercial requirement (on-brief and on-time), accountable to the MMC and relevant CCM&B Specialist Manager(s). Report/flag any delivery issues promptly back to CCM&B in Dubai with recommended actions.




  • Internal Communications: Act as a champion for employee communications in the market. Monitor central Internal Communications channels (groupworld, grouptoday, Yammer) and contribute news and events from the market. Encourage and support local management to be visible and active in terms of communicating with employees.




  • Partnerships Marketing: Ensure all marketing communications aspects of partnership agreements (joint advertising, PR, digital, events or sponsorships, data-collection) are compliant with organizational agreements and local regulations. Under the direction of the MMC and/or relevant CCM&B Specialist Manager(s), provide executional support around such partnerships as required.




  • Brand Support:  Act as a brand champion for all CCM&B output and trade marketing communications. Apply standards and requirements as per the brand guidelines. As part of the CCM&B team, ensure the brand is appropriately supported by weight and priority as directed by the MMC.




  • Data Collection: Ensure that customer data collection via marketing communications campaigns and activities is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Provide support on local data and insights gathering to the Marketing Analytics and Customer Insights Teams to help enable customer-centric marketing.




  • Budget control: Monitor and report on expenditure associated with activities under the direction of the MMC and/or relevant CCM&B Specialist Manager(s), ensuring costs are within budget, and any variances are escalated appropriately, with recommendations as required.




  • Translation: Translate, edit and approve simple copy, ensuring accuracy in the language(s) of the local market or territory, as well as English.



 


Job Requirements:

Qualifications/Experience



  • Educated up to Degree with a specialization in a marketing communications related field preferred.

  • Experience working from communications briefs, exercising budget controls and tracking, implementing activity plans and supporting integrated communications and marketing campaigns.

  • A good understanding of digital communications and insights driven marketing.

  • A good knowledge of all aspects of sports sponsorships and events management, advertising production (TV, press, radio, cinema, print, digital, etc.) and be knowledgeable about media planning and PR.

  • The jobholder will be responsible for translating or editing and approving simple copy, and therefore must have exemplary communications skills.

  • Experience working with communications agencies and ensuring follow through on client requirements would be very beneficial.

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.

  • Salary range - $71,400 $102,000
