Working alongside key stakeholders such as the Senior Digital Safety Risk Manager and Head of Digital Safety Assurance, youll contribute to enhancing our regulatory compliance and control maturity. What you’ll be doing:
You will play a pivotal role in leveraging our Digital Safety risk framework to identify, analyse, and manage cyber risks effectively. Your responsibilities will include engaging with various functions across the organisation to gather comprehensive risk-related information, applying Digital Safety assurance processes with strategic initiative, and collaborating closely with the IT Quality and Risk function to address significant areas of IT risk. You will report findings to senior management, present insights at risk forums, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the threat landscape. Additionally, you will provide education and guidance to colleagues on risk methodology, ensuring a company-wide understanding of risk management. In supporting Risk and Assurance, you will track, manage, and report on risk activities, facilitate preparations for auditors, and contribute to the enhancement of our data governance framework
What you’ll need to do the role:
The ideal candidate will possess industry-relevant qualifications and awareness in Information Security or Risk Management, coupled with previous experience in a cyber/information security compliance role or similar business roles involving risk management responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and partners, while the ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage workload effectively within tight deadlines is crucial. A rational and organised approach to work, along with analytical thinking, is necessary, alongside motivation to develop and maintain subject matter expertise. Enthusiasm, proactiveness, and a positive attitude are valued traits, along with the ability to absorb and communicate technical information effectively. Basic report writing skills and compliance with organisational security practices are also expected.
